An experiential, interdisciplinary, and entrepreneurial problem-based course exploring issues relating to the conservation of wildlife and the preservation of human well-being in East Africa. Students will develop an e-commerce site for raising public awareness about the social and economic conditions that lead to illegal animal poaching, the alternative offered by the Snares to Wares initiative, and the intervention happening in Murchison Falls National Park in Uganda. Students will develop the information and infrastructure needed to market Snare Art to the public.
