Angie serves as the Senior Fiscal Officer & HR Manager for Burgess Institute and the Staff Assistant for College Initiatives in the Broad College Dean’s Office. She works with both the Burgess team and the Chief of Staff to the Dean, focused on unit startups-building budgets, managing accounting & human resources, contract development, developing & restructuring operational policies & assisting with implementation strategies for the Broad College.
Angie has been doing institutional financial & office management work for more than 21 years at MSU. Prior to MSU, she was the Office Manager & Executive Assistant to the president for ERSCO Corporation with 14 branch locations & prior served as a legal assistant for Kempf & Yee Bankruptcy Law Office in the Lansing area. She is also a small business owner.
Angie holds a Bachelors Degree in Business-Professional Studies, Entrepreneurship for Community Development, Executive Administration and another in Computer Information Processing. She is a certified Master Gardener from Michigan State University & a certified MSU Extension 4H leader in Eaton County.
When not on campus, she enjoys spending time with her family, does website freelance work and serves as a board member for athletic boosters and provides grant writing support within her school district.
