Growth Capital Manager, TechTown
Caleb Conley is a startup ecosystem builder and capital strategist focused on advancing Detroit’s innovation economy. As Growth Capital Manager at TechTown and Program Manager for Venture 313, he works directly with early-stage founders—providing capital, strategic support, and access to resources that help entrepreneurs go from idea to launch. He has deployed over $1 million to early-stage founders and played a key role in launching high-impact activations across the city—including the ACT House Hackathon, Black Tech Weekend, and the NFL Draft Sports, Tech, and Venture Summit.
His background includes consulting with startups as a Venture for America Fellow and leading strategy and projects for organizations like Strategic Community Partners, RISE, and Rock Ventures. A proud Michigan State University alum, Caleb brings a sharp mix of innovative insight and business acumen to his work. Outside of supporting founders, he’s passionate about running his social golf club, traveling around the world, and staying tapped into Detroit’s creative culture as a DJ.
