Hella Awkward Games, founded by Brittane Rowe a 2011 Michigan State University graduate, has successfully secured a $200,000 investment deal during a recent episode of ABC’s Shark Tank. The game has become popular for leveling up your small talk for “awkward conversations.” Rowe went into the pitch seeking $200,000 for a 10% stake in her company, and after a negotiation between two Sharks, Lori Greiner and Kevin O’Leary, it was Robert Herjavec who ultimately matched Rowe’s ask with a $200,000 investment for a 10% equity share in Hella Awkward Games.
