SPARTAN ANGEL NETWORK

An angel investment network is a group of individual investors, often called "angel investors," who pool their resources to provide early-stage funding to startups and small businesses. These networks play a crucial role in the entrepreneurial ecosystem by offering not only financial support but also mentorship, industry connections, and strategic guidance to emerging companies. Angel investors typically focus on companies in the initial stages of development, where access to capital can be a significant barrier. By investing in innovative ideas and passionate founders, angel networks help stimulate business growth, foster innovation, and create job opportunities within the community. In return, investors gain the potential for high returns and the opportunity to be involved in pioneering new ventures. This symbiotic relationship strengthens the entrepreneurial ecosystem by increasing the likelihood of startup success and contributing to a vibrant, diverse economy.

The Spartan Angel Network members will be invited to pitch sessions and events to learn about innovative, MSU affiliated startup companies that are looking for funding. This is one of the most impactful ways our alumni and friends can show how Spartans help Spartans. We will be hosting in person as well as virtual forums to meet with and listen to these companies and their pitches.

As a member you will have access to the Angel Capital Association which gives you access to angel investing education and professional development.

The Spartan Angel Network is a component of the Spartan Founders Club. You must be a member of the Spartan Founders Club to participate, be an accredited investor through the SEC, complete a member intake meeting and sign our membership agreement.
