Students, parents, alumni, and community members can now buy exclusive, student-crafted items, which rotate monthly.

Students, parents, alumni, and community members can buy these exclusive items, which rotate monthly. Offerings currently include clothes, jewelry, bags, desserts, ceramics, digital art, embroidered items, blankets, stickers, stationery, plush toys, self-defense keychains, and 14K gold-filled bracelets, with more items coming soon. Student-Made will also host pop-up events at both Kellogg Market and 1855 Place Market.

The Burgess Institute encourages hands-on learning, offering programs, courses, and resources that cultivate an entrepreneurial mindset and help establish new ventures. The curriculum emphasizes embracing failure, navigating uncertainty, and honing marketable skills.

The collaboration with Student-Made provides Spartan entrepreneurs, or "creators" as termed by Student-Made, an opportunity to sell their products on a larger scale.

Founded in 2019, Student-Made has expanded to eight campuses, with plans to reach more this fall. It operates as a distinct online marketplace at each university, making it easy for communities to support their local student entrepreneurs. The platform bridges the gap between students, alumni, and locals, offering real-world business experience and a platform for student passion.

MSU Culinary Services boasts some of the industry's finest chefs. Its Executive and Sous Chefs team delivers premium cuisine to university students, faculty, staff, and visitors. Recognized with national awards, the culinary program has alumni from leading culinary institutes and serves more than 45,000 meals daily.
