Administrative Assistant
Leigh Anne is the Administrative Assistant for the Burgess Institute for Entrepreneurship & Innovation, overseeing all administrative functions and keeping the department running smoothly every day.
Every day, Leigh Anne helps our team—and our students—stay sane, productive, and organized. As an entrepreneur herself, she identifies with our student entrepreneurs. Leigh Anne’s long-time interest in floral design has become a side-hustle.
Before joining the Burgess Institute’s team, Leigh Anne served as the Administrative Assistant for Undergraduate Entrepreneurship and Innovation. She was a Project Manager for the Michigan Health & Hospital Association for 15 years. She was an integral team member for the association’s annual convention and committee chair for implementing sustainability in the workplace. While chairing this committee, she pursued and completed a Sustainable Business Professional Certificate from the Center for Sustainability at Aquinas College, Grand Rapids.
Leigh Anne earned her Bachelor of Art in Social Science with an emphasis in International Studies from Michigan State University.
